Day 1 or the 12 days til Christmas
So for day 1 I'd like to share with you one of the two wreaths that my hubby made for the house.... they are real and since we live in the woods the supplies were all around us.
About two weeks ago (When the weather was still Fall like ) One Sat my hubby, my two kids and me ( I really didn't do anything but, sit in the car because of my foot I can't walk in the woods.) We all went and got the supplies that we would need... the hardest thing to find were the pine cones.
So here's the first one
I was so happy with the way it came out and, it smells fabulous!!! I made the bow but, pretty much everything else the hubby did. He does nice work. Next year we're thinking about making up a few and selling them. Come on back to see the Red wreath that he made as well.
I can't wait until he make the birch centerpieces!!!! He's off two more days this week so we'll see what we can do. We had to go food shopping today and this past weekend we had a party and we needed to go shopping for household items at Wal-Mart..... (don't get me started on Wal-Mart, I swear they aren't as cheap as they claim to be..... expecially on their food items you can do...... sooooooo soooooo sooooo much better at the food store if you just look we've been saving so much money by doing that. We go to Wal-Mart once a month and spend not even a fraction of what we used to be spending.

Gorgeous wreath Michelle! I wish we had a ready supply of wreath goodies near me :) Maybe I could scalp my cedar, but it would not smell as good. I can't wait to see the red one and the other things you and your hubby are creating!
