I've been hard at work.....
I've been working very hard on my first ever word book. It's a Cheer Wordbook. I'm going to use it as a thank you gift for my daughters coach. I have been taking pictures i just haven't had the time to post them. I have to renew my d.l. because mine expires this year the day after my birthday and that date is slowly approaching....
Gotta go but, I will be back later on tonight if there's time.

TriArt Markers VS Copic Markers

Vs.

Besides the obvious price tag? What are the other differences?
At one point I was led to believe that the TriArt Markers couldn't be refilled but, I've seen online that they in fact do sell refills for them. Tri Art Markers are about half the price of the Copic Markers, I know that the TriArt Markers , Hold less ink, have less colors, but with being able to blend them I don't see that as an issue, and Tri Art Markers, only have a shelf life of three years all of they things really aren't an issue for me. I really do like the extra nub that these markers come with.
Now I know everyone LOVES the Copic Sketch Markers because they can hook up to the airbrush attachment. I have no use for that so that isn't an issue for me. They have way more colors and I was told by someone who was selling them that they actually have longer shelf life. Don't quote me but, I believe she said 5 years. As far as I can tell you can get Copic Markers from way more suppliers than the Tri Art Markers, could mean more competitive pricing?
As I said before :
Both of them come in the similar oval shape so the wont roll of the table on you. Which is a nice feature. The TriArt ones have three tips on them which is nice where the Copic have two. Both brands come with replaceable nubs. Which is just fantastic.
Any thoughts?
Thanks ,
Michelle

Copic Markers
So, I need some help with Copic Markers

Does anyone know of a good repitable place that I can get these from at a price? I have a birthday coming up and I would like to get some. Also I read somewhere that when you get them it's better to buy them as single markers and not as sets. I also saw where it said if say you were buying a pink one, you should pick the pink one you like then you also pick one shade above and one shade below it. I assume for shading purposes. I've been looking at these for years now. Just ask Trisha at every convention we go to I always look at them and last year I almost jumped but, I wanted to do some research on them first.
I have a birthday coming up so in the event that I get any birthday money I'm goind to splurge and get myself some of these markers. I've been really good so far at not spending any money of my crafting suppplies with the exception of glue because come on with out glue everything would fall apart.
I've done very good sticking to my achieveable New Years Goal.
Anyway back to the markers?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks ,
Michelle

Here's my cousins Blog she's pretty to bloggin
Have you ever seen these things? They are Cotton dryer balls they cut your drying time down. I've never tried them but. I love what she does with these. She doesn't sell them. She trades them for other items. Isn't that a cool idea. If you stop by her blog
Presonal Greetings by Susan please be sure to let her know you found her from her cousin Michelle's Blog.

Michelle

Card for Dad
For me always so difficult to make my cards masculine but, I thought that is was kind of cute. Currently it's a blank card inside because it's just an extra I have laying around. This way I can use it as a card for my kids to give their Dad. Or My Hubby or I could give them to either of our Dad's for any occassion.
Hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for looking.
Michelle
