Again I used my Copic Sketch Markers to color it in and I love them.  I'm so glad that I finally broke down and got them and, I am so glad that I did.

I hope that you enjoyed my project. I just love it. I would also like to say to anyone who is thinking about getting involved with Design Teams, Blog Hops, or Challenges.... but you might be alittle hesitant.... Just Do It. The more you do the better you will get.

I'm so excited to be joining 13 other very talented ladies on this awesome hop....

I have to say that Autumn is my most favorite time of the year.  I am lucky enough to live in Northeastern, Pa.  In the Pocono area... I love living in the woods so much wildlife.

The best part about it, is when the leaves change colors!!!!  They look so pretty, it seems like you wait for ever for them to change and then before you know it .... they change, we get hit with a heavey rain and then they are gone.

Here's my card for today... I love both of them. 

I'm starting to get better at coloring with my Copic Sketch Markers... I am so glad I finally took the plug to get these... they really do make all the difference in coloring.

I also used twine that I received from The Twinery (this is a quality product!!!)

and I used some bling from Want 2 Scrap

Jen's Digi Stamps New Release Sept 7th

I just love these three new additions to, Jen's digi stamps ever growing collection.  I liked them so much that I had to do each one of them.

Of, course I'm still perfecting my COPIC skills.  Certain times I can see where I did really good and other times I can see where not so.... I need to work on my shading and my highlighting and my low lighting... but, like everything.... I WILL get there because once I get my sights set on something....

Nothing can stop me.

Okay so onto my first card

Congratulations On Your New Puppy!!!

I really like how this one came out.  Again I didn't have the right color brown ribbon so what did I do?  I colored it the color that I wanted with my COPIC Marker and I got the exact color that I was looking for.  It's a dark brown if you can't tell by the picture... I know taking pictures at night isn't the best time but, I wanted to have these up in time for tomorrows post.

Okay now did you ever start making a card and as your doing it you are looking at it and for what ever reason... it's just not doing it for you?  Well, this is what was happening to me when I was making this one

Now I am not going to lie.... when I originally made this card there was no very pale yellow ribbon.  For me the yellow ribbon is what made me fall in love with this card... I am now finally pleased with how it turned out.  Between the Topaz colored Rhinestones and the Viloet Pearls and then the Pale Yellow Ribbon.... I really like how it all just came together in the end.

I really like how this was colored in and you may remember this very bright purple ribbon well, it's the purple ribbon that I colored in with my COPICS the last time.

I would like to thank EVERYONE who came out

over this extended holiday weekend.  To support myself and the 40 other crafters who all took part in the Labor of Love Halloween Banner blog hop.

I have to tell you that every time I saw a new banner I found myself saying wow I really like this, or ooooh that was a good idea.  No two banners were alike.

 I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with.  I have 1 thing made but, I'm also thinking of doing something else instead and I know it would look awesome, if I had the time to get it finished by the weekend.  I may just need to go for it.  Also as you should be aware by now I am on the Design Team over at Jen's Digi Stamps so I will be featuring many of her stamps in the next few weeks so keep your eyes open for those.  I have everything colored I just need to actually make them into something.  We have a bunch of things coming up

.... so I'll see how the week turns out.  My daughter is starting Cyber Charter School so I've got that going on today, it's the first day soooo..... I don't know what to expect.

And, I'm in the process of moving so there are boxes everywhere and at some point I'm going to have to pack up my crafting supplies but, believe you me I will be waiting till the last minute to do it.  Basically because I have made commitments to a few people so I maybe doing alot of pre-scheduling my posts so that I don't miss out on anything.

Tween style Birthday Cards

This is actually an updated version of a card that I made way back in 2008 for my baby sister.

Since then my crafting styles have gotten better I would say.  I now have more items that I work with and the quality is way better.

So here is a picture of the original card from 2008:

And now here are the two newer versions.  I did keep the idea basically the same but, because they are all one of a kinds I never make two exactly the same.

okay here it the first one :

for this one I used the Cricut Decals Cartridge.  I wanted to distinguish that this skull was a girl so I used the one with the bow.

Then I used the same one that I used the first time I made this card. I swear I can't decide which one I like better.  I think they all look nice in their own way.  But you can see how they are all basically the same concept.  For these with the ribbon I actually used my copic sketch markers to color the irridescent ribbon that I had.... I love that I could do that.

I'm cutting my post shorter then normal only because I have to still do some more packing today and I want to get some things made so that I can take pictures and then pre-schedule my posts like I said before and, I'm going on not much sleep going to bed at 3:00am and then getting up at 6:45 with my daughter since I'm her learning coach so I need to be there to supervise her.... once I take my pain meds.... I should be good and sleepy by lunchtime.  So from 12:00 to 12:45 I will be napping I think.....lol

I'm going to be sharing with you the Halloween Card that I've made for the Children of (PSC).  I had so much fun making this card and the best part about it is .... for the most part with the exception of the digi that I used... I used up some of my scraps.  I've been trying to do that all year long.... It's funny because now I still have scraps just some smaller peices of them.   I can't bring myself to really throw any of them out.

Any way here's my Halloween Card:

LOL.... I just love this little monkey that's dressed up like a butterfly.... So cute.

I also colored him in with my Copic Markers ( I have to say, I am really loving working with them.  I'm still learning.  I need to work on my shading techniques but, I love how seemlessly they blend together.  They are worth their price tag.)
